A student research team from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Massachusetts, spent two months riding all 11 of Worcester's Bike Buses. Their findings: kids say Bike Bus days are their favourite of the week, parents cite morning schedules and traffic as the biggest barriers, and schools remain the missing link. The team's report lays out six concrete recommendations, from a new parent guidebook to test rides for non-cycling families, for turning a weekly highlight into a lasting shift in how Worcester gets to school.
