Bike recycling

Crowngate Shopping Centre has partnered with Bike Worcester to launch a bicycle recycling scheme. A team of Bike Worcester volunteers are hosting regular sessions at the Crowngate centre, helping to refurbish bikes and teach visitors about maintenance. Bikes are donated by members of the public and, after being fixed by our volunteers, inspected by qualified mechanics before being given to charity or sold to members of the public at cost. Bike Worcester is exploring funding avenues to allow more bikes to be fixed and donated to worthy causes.Contact us via email, or on Twitter, or on Facebook for more information about the next workshop (typically weekly!)
